What a Type 02 licence means
A Type 02 licence is a pawnbroker in firearms: the shop can take firearms as collateral, sell them, and run transfers like a dealer. It can buy or pawn your firearm and log it into federally required records; sell firearms to the public after a background check; receive and process FFL transfers. Registered SOT: this dealer can also sell and transfer NFA items where state law allows.
