Selling a gun in Okmulgee: questions
Do I need paperwork to sell my gun to a pawn shop?
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. The pawnbroker logs the firearm into their federally required records when they take it in. If you later redeem a pawned firearm, you'll complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a background check to get it back.
Will I get more selling or pawning my gun?
Selling outright usually pays more than a pawn loan, which is designed to be repaid. Either way, offers are typically below private-sale market value — call two or three shops from this list and compare quotes before deciding.
