What a Type 10 licence means
A Type 10 licence is a manufacturer of destructive devices and ammunition for them — usually an industrial or defence contractor rather than a store. It can manufacture destructive devices; deal in conventional firearms. Most Type 10 holders do not serve walk-in retail customers.
